With respect to the differences between the SVOP and the MED A3 you should be aware that these training courses have all been reviewed in July 2007.
Capt. Diane Couture, Manager nautical certification and pilotage can address your concern more specifically. She will be available at CMAC.
With respect to the PCOC program, we have revamped the entire online program with a much rigid on line study and an exam of 56 questions.
This system was released on April 1st 2011.
