Oct. 12th - Martin, Oscar and Jakob left Parry Sound on Friday. They all did an amazing job at Craganmor and kept up their strong work ethic right to the very end! Natalie, Matt, Andrew and all our customers thank you and wish you all the very best in your travels! We would love to see you back again next season! Adios and Auf Weidersehen!!

The end to another stunning day on Georgian Bay near Craganmor Point Resort

The guys found these two salamanders today while cleaning up. They are an 'Eastern Red Backed' and a 'Spotted' (wonder how they thought up those names...). they both have a range that extends from the Niagara Peninsula to the top of Georgian Bay. The Spotted can grow to nearly 10 inches long and live for up to 30 years!

Oct 9th - Oscar on the 8am 'milk run' this morning. The Maple trees are in peak color right now, Oak trees are about half way. Weather is very calm and extremely warm!!

Sunrise, Sept 10th as I pump 10 inches of water out of the fishing boats. That was one heck of a storm, I don't think I have ever seen so many flashes of lightening in such a short time!!

Fall projects at Craganmor. We are rebuilding the old cribs on the devils elbow side and replacing the decking on top. There will be 3 floating docks there when we are finished. Nice!!

On Tuesday night, driving back from Bracebridge, we saw this young female moose on the side of the highway..she was very relaxed and a number of cars stopped and took photos!

Water level on August 28th after two days of very calm conditions. We will be watching levels very closely in the next couple of weeks to see if there is a repeat of last year's sudden and significant drop in the first week of September!
